• Published Articles Dr. Andrew J. Weiland is an Attending Orthopedic Surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He is currently Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Professor of Surgery (Plastic) at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York. Dr. Weiland specializes in treatment of: - Hand, wrist and other upper extremity fractures and dislocations - Complex fractures of the upper extremity - Sports injuries of the hand - Arthritis of the Hand - Upper extremity joint replacement - Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - Poly-trauma patients with orthopaedic injuries - Non-unions of the upper extremity - Malunions of the upper extremity - Microsurgery including bone and muscle grafts - Minimally invasive surgery of the hand and wrist Dr. Weiland has also published extensively on these topics including numerous articles and book chapters. He frequently presents at both national and international conferences on treatment of orthopaedic trauma.
